How Club Impact Started
Club Impact began in the Winter of 2023, when a Pinnacle High School football player, Dylan Fricke, felt led to start a Bible study with his teammates. The first meeting, held for the varsity team, quickly filled an entire classroom. As the group grew, we realized that the vision was bigger than just a Bible study, so we expanded the invitation to all three levels of the football team. The response was overwhelming, with the lecture room packed after just one meeting.
From School Bible Study to Church Bible Study
After several weeks, it became clear that God was moving in powerful ways. A group of dedicated club members from the football team started to attend church services across the valley and also started attending Impact Youth Bible Study.
Public Prayer
In addition to the church and bible study attendance, the athletes were driven to host prayer sessions in the locker room, on the field, and even in public spaces - bringing their teammates and community together
Shared Testimonies
In just the first few months, many of the members got up in front of their team to share about their life and their relationship with Jesus. It was amazing to see this happen organically and it quickly has led to many more students sharing their testimonies in front of their peers today.
Baptisms
As the meetings progressed, many of the founding club members decided to get baptized. 7 club members even decided to get baptized at the same service, as a public declaration of what Jesus was doing in their lives.
Expanding To The Entire School
In less than six months, the student leadership decided to open the club to the entire student body. What started as a one-time bible study would soon become a school-wide club with 350+ attending weekly at multiple schools.
